Three days of competition (four if you count the prequalifers) starting with two steeplechase runs on Friday. Tyra’s 2 runs were fast enough to get her into the steeplechase finals on Sunday afternoon. This is her second stepplechase final at a Nationals event. She also made it into the fnals last year in the very competitive 26″ regular class.. This year she’s running as a 22″ special dog. I’m very pleased with her overall 5th place finish with 3 individual first placements in both standards and the second jumpers.

One of the stars of the show was 12 year old Pippin. He and Leslie won first place in their class to become the 10″ Veterans National Champions! Congratulations to Leslie and Pippin!
